Welcome, welcome, welcome to the CHIPTA website! 

Please visit the website on a regular basis, which will tell you about events that CHIPTA is planning in the school which you and your child/children can participate in.

Welcome back to school for all year 1 and year 2 parents and a huge welcome to all new reception parents – we hope you all had a wonderful summer holiday. For all new parents, we are CHIPTA (Coombe Hill Infants Parent Teacher Association) and comprise of Co-Chairs, Catherine Havers (Daisy – Ladybird) and Helen Wardell (Callum – Squirrel), Secretary Anna Gulliver (Ben – Hedgehog), Treasurer Jo Byatt (Kate – Badger) and Junior Liaison Jackie Patel (Teyo – Hedgehog). 

The Autumn term is a very busy term with cake sales, Christmas Fair, Christmas parties and concerts, International night, Children’s discos and film nights, Parents Christmas Night out etc so apologies for a rather long update this time!   The aim of these events is to try and raise as much money as possible for the school and children while having lots of fun!  Please try and get involved in any way you can and support our events – we are always looking for help so if you would like to help, please speak to your class reps (details attached) or contact one of the Chipta committee (details above).  Thank you in advance for all your help and support.

CHIPTA use a number of platforms to inform you of school goings on

• the CHIPTA blackboard by the collection gate.
• CHIPTA updates·and of course this CHIPTA website.·
• We also encourage you to attend the PTA/parent forum meetings held regularly where you can ask for clarification on school issues or raise any items for discussion.
• You can also get information from your class representatives and your teachers.
• The CHIPTA Calendar of Events.· The CHIPTA Calendar of Events can also be added to your smartphone (iphone/Android/Blackberry) or desktop calendar application.
• And of course our Chairs Catherine and Helen can be found at drop off/pick up times at the school entrance for queries.

Julia Booth will be running the London Marathon in April 2012 to raise funds for·Coombe Hill Infants School and Kingston Hospital/Momentum.
